Waterproofing membrane to be installed in a single layer, consisting of a layer of vulcanized EPDM with a corrugated non-slip surface, resistant to UV and all kinds of weathering, unreinforced, 1.2 mm thick. Designated by quality certificates from AENOR and CE, according to EN 13956. Supplied in rolls of 1.5 m x 20 m. Fully recyclable, anti-root black ( HIDROSTAN 1.2 mm).
The Hidrostan EPDM waterproofing membrane will be laid directly over the horizontal surface of the slab and turned up in the vertical parts. The membranes will be joined by cold bonding of the overlaps with overlaps of 10 cm, 8 cm of which will be with adhesive ( AC-221 CIDAC ) and the remaining 2 cm of edge with polymer-based sealant ( Mastic CIDAC sealant), applied to the extent of 6 ÷ 7 m per pipe. When the mastic and sealant are applied, care will be taken to roll the joint with a special plastic roller, exerting pressure and avoiding the formation of air bubbles. Laying to completion with laying of TNT to protect the membrane before proceeding with the laying of the river bowl or soil.

Precautions in laying:
Measure the length and width of your roof. It is appropriate to be sure that you have included any vertical lapels in your calculation. Always follow the basic rule: after measuring, always add at least 2 inches to the width and 2 inches to the length. This will allow the membrane to slide freely under any metrological conditions. If your roof is small, or it is a large roofing project, and always best to let the EPDM membrane relax for about half an hour.
Once the membrane has relaxed, one can proceed with its placement and then proceed to fixation.
Precautions in laying:
The first rule to follow is to always make sure before laying the membrane, that all surfaces where the Hidrostan EPDM waterproofing membrane will be laid are perfectly dry and clean.
Be careful that the membrane can become slippery when wet.
Be careful when working in weather conditions below + 5 degrees and above + 30 degrees. Adhesives and sealants do not dry as quickly as in ambient temperatures with bright sunshine.
Equipment needed to start laying:
A list of power and hand tools that are typically needed to install an EPDM; Tailor's scissors, small brushes, white chalk, clean rags, tape measure, hard plastic roller, painter's roller 8 cm wide, string beater to draw the cut lines.
