Design and waterproofing of a critical hospital building.

Our team faces a new and ambitious challenge in the design and waterproofing of a hospital building that, for years, has been subjected to inadequate maintenance attempts. This building, part of a crucial healthcare facility, has been subjected to interventions that, despite good intentions, did not take into account local climatic requirements or structural peculiarities. The use of unreliable and unsuitable membrane solutions has aggravated an already compromised situation, causing disruptions to the activities of the surgical room and placing health care workers in difficulty.

The challenges we face are multiple and complex. First, the climatic stresses in the area have a crucial impact on the durability of waterproofing solutions. Exposure to wind, intense temperature fluctuations and the constant action of sunlight require materials that can withstand these extreme conditions over the long term. Previous solutions used have not only proven ineffective, but have also exacerbated the problems, leading to seepage, structural damage, and further expenditure of economic and time resources for maintenance

Our response to this situation will be based on a thorough analysis of environmental conditions and the specific needs of the building. Our approach will involve the use of the most advanced technologies and innovative materials available in the waterproofing industry. The membranes we intend to apply have been specially developed to ensure that they will be watertight for more than 30 years, even under conditions of continuous exposure to the sun and the most aggressive weather conditions.

Thanks to our experience and collaboration with CIDAC the market leaders in EPDM waterproofing membranes, we are confident that the solutions we will deploy will not only solve current problems, but provide long-lasting protection, minimizing the need for future interventions.

The intervention at the roof of the USLL 2 Hospital in Montebelluna, Treviso, was concluded with great success thanks to the adoption of waterproofing membranes **Hidrostan 150**. This intervention, which was required to restore the old bitumen waterproofing that had become compromised, was resolved effectively.

The project was characterized by extraordinary care and precision: the drapes were custom-made with "surgical" accuracy, perfectly in line with the hospital's healthcare context. This attention ensured flawless installation by the company GME & C. SAS DI MHILLAJ GENTIAN + 39 3281662225 , maximizing the effectiveness of the proposed solution and minimizing intervention time, benefiting the building's operations.

Thanks to the use of advanced technologies and state-of-the-art materials such as EPDM waterproofing membranes Hidrostan 150, it was possible to restore the hospital roof with durable and reliable protection against weathering. This achievement underscores the importance of careful design and innovative solutions in the field of waterproofing, confirming its excellence.
