What is NOBILIUM® THERMALPANEL

How it works
NOBILIUM® THERMALPANEL consists of a long fiber of pure Basalt, a special and selected rock of volcanic origin that is 100% natural and non-combustible. The fiber is structured into thin plies "sewn" together mechanically.
In Construction
NOBILIUM® THERMALPANEL can be used in a variety of applications, such as in the thermal insulation of interior and exterior walls, ceilings, roofs, floors, and coats, because it is easy to install and can be used in tight, hard-to-reach spaces.
The NOBILIUM® market is related to solving the critical issues that the practitioner encounters when space in terms of footprint, combined with the resolution of heat loss must be guaranteed.
Total non-combustibility also makes it an attractive material for compartmentalization to fire spread in thermally insulated walls.
Excellent for Historic Buildings and Rehabilitation Works
NOBILIUM® THERMALPANEL is particularly suitable for historic buildings and rehabilitation works, as it is characterized by a very fast evaporation process and high thermal resistance, a combination that favors a continuous drying cycle process to the masonry. The solution of insulating and at the same time rehabilitating historic-monumental buildings with a low-thickness panel of noble basalt rock does not disfigure the reading of the historical memory of the masonry face.
In Industry
The weight and performance of insulation systems are of paramount importance. Both thermal protection, fire protection, and sound absorption must necessarily have the performance ratio of weight to thickness. NOBILIUM® THERMALPANEL performs particularly well in supporting high thermal stress situations, with temperatures that can exceed 1000°C.
Noble basalt fibers can replace all applications of asbestos, glass fibers or ceramics being characterized by a diameter above the set respirability limit.
Easy to install
NOBILIUM® THERMALPANEL is modular and self-supporting, making it easy to install on roofs, walls, ceilings and floors. It can be applied without the use of anchors as well as on the floor under screed and laid "dry" under parquet flooring.
It can be adapted to any type of surface and can be installed around obstacles and irregular surfaces such as: unevenness, pipes, ducts and cavities; all, without affecting thermal performance.
