SMP CIDAC (Silane-Modified Polymers) single-component elastomeric sealants.

They are flexible materials used to seal joints and connections in various fields, such as construction and industry. They are formulated with resins that provide durable elastic and adhesive properties, allowing them to absorb movement or vibration without compromising the integrity of the seal.

SMP CIDAC shape memory polymers are intelligent materials that, under certain conditions, are able to maintain a deformed shape under external stress, and then regain their permanent shape.

The curing times of SMP CIDAC technology, allow components to be more easily repositioned and handled, while ensuring outstanding bond strength on a wide range of materials.

The main characteristics of single-component elastomeric sealants are their flexibility even after curing, which adapts to surface movements, 'High adhesion to a wide range of materials: metals, glass, plastics, concrete, and wood, their resistance to temperature, weathering, chemicals, and aging, and they are ready to 'use.

CIDAC SMP sealant does not need to be protected from the weather, however, it can be painted perfectly with any acrylic paint as long as it is sufficiently elastic.
